The world history chapter I enjoyed the most this year is chapter 18. The name of chapter 18 is World at War. It was about World War 1 and World War 2. I enjoyed this chapter the most because all the people in and all the things in it were very interesting.
I think that was the best chapter. I think it is because I learned that some women helped in the war. They helped by teaching soldiers how to use gas masks. They also drove ambulances, and work as nurses to heal people. Also I learned that the Americans got involved in the war because the Germans sent a telegraph to Mexico saying that if they join the Germans side they will get land back from the Americans. The Americans picked up this telegraph and sent troops to Germany to stop this. That resulted in a win for the side of the Allied Powers.
A new skill I learned to use this year was to make notes on everything that you are doing. That could help on test and helps you get a better grade. Also I learned how to make better notes because I used to write not really important facts down but Mr. Cupples taught us how to write good notes. Those are some new skills I learned throughout the year.
I can apply this Knowledge to the real world because I saw that a lot of people invested in stock markets. I know not to because I saw all of the money they put in the market could be a waste or you could hit a gold mine. Also I know to try and not waste money so just in case the U.S.A goes in another depression.
My work sample I chose to use is my Medieval Europe Trackstar. I think this is one of my best projects.
